Sales Order Freight ChargesA new option has been added to the 'Sales Order Entry Screen' which allows the specified freight charge to be applied to EACH delivery made from the sales order.
The restrictions on allocating 'kitted' works orders to sales order call-offs have been reduced. Users should now be able to allocate up to the 'unallocated' forecast quantity on the works order.
The older 'Missing Assemblies' option has been replaced with a new 'Sales Orders without Assemblies' report & export.
Picklist Maintenance
The 'Picklist Maintenance' screen has been updated with an optional column which shows which sales order the picklist originated from.
If the picklist contains items from multiple sales orders this column will show '<MULTI>'.
Style 9 has been added as the new default style. This is similar to style 1 except that it doesn't have an outside border and therefore allows unlimited numbers of release details, release materials and related serial numbers.
The QuickBooks sales and purchase exports have been amended to record VAT correctly against the relevant invoice. VAT was previously exported as a separate transaction, rather than as part of the transaction to which it refers.
A new option has been added to the 'Sales Invoice Menu' to allow invoice details to be exported to EDI systems. Please contact support if you have customers which support EDI and would like a quote for the matching export format.
A new option - 'Order By Project' - has been added to the 'Auto-Generate Purchase Orders Menu'. This allows purchase orders to be raised for components of all works orders contained in a project at the same time.
The purchase order entry screen now allows the user to input a short message which will be shown on the 'Purchase Order Receipt' screen when the item is booked into stock.
A 'Product Group' search facility has been added to the QuickBar of the 'Order By Stock Level' screen.
Most of the 'Auto-Generate Purchase Order' screens now show the extended 'notes / comments' of the parts & materials shown.
The 'Non-Stocked Parts' selection / maintenance screens now include a QuickBar, allowing the lists to be ranged by part number and / or description.
A new option has been added to Trial Kitting to include an enquiry of the predicted delivery date. This option asks for the date an order will be received by, then test-schedules the manufactured parts required by the kit to see what the earliest completion date would be (based on the current schedule). The option also takes into account the lead time of any 'Bought In' parts or raw materials which are required by the trial kit.
Trial Kitting has had a print / preview & export option added which will also include the predicted delivery dates if this option has been chosen.
A new report has been added to show when FAIR items are due to expire.
A new option to print the costing for a particular project has been added to the Project Costing Detail screen.
Additionally, the existing 'Cost of Sales Report' from job costing now has an option to range by project.
The 'Job Costing Detail' screen has been completely redesigned to improve the clarity of the information shown. A 'variance' column has also been added to highlight differences between the 'planned' and 'actual' figures.
The data capture screens now allow the entry of quantities to the same number of decimal places as specified for the part being worked. Previously only whole numbers could be entered on these screens.
The method of recording that time is for 'rework' has also been changed - the user previously clicked on a 'toggle button' to indicate rework; he must now click on a 'check box' to set this option.
A new control flag ('LUNCH_TIME_FLEXIBLE') has been added which affects how lunch button generated absences are handled. If set, the employee's scheduled lunch start will be changed to match the time he clicked on the 'out-to-lunch' button. He will then not be recorded as absent unless he takes a longer duration of lunch than scheduled.
A new import of 'Stocked Parts Min / Max Stock levels' has been added to the Import Manager.
A new export of 'Purchase Order Details' has been added to the export manager.
A new export of 'Purchase Prices' has been added to the export manager.
A new export of 'Works Order Details' has been added to the export manager.
