System Control File The control file has been expanded to include more detailed descriptions of the various control flags and their usage in the system. This information will be added to & updated in future versions. |
Transaction Broker The 'General Import' on the 'General' tab of the main menu has been renamed as 'Transaction Broker', and further options added. It is now possible to print out the required file structures for the various types of transaction, and to view a summary analysis of any errors. |
Invoices Invoice Style 17 now shows the tax analysis in the home currency. If the invoice is in a different currency then this section will also indicate the exchange rate used. |
Purchase Orders Trailing zeros can now be removed from quantities printed on purchase orders by setting the control flag 'PO_HIDE_DECIMAL_TRAILING_ZERO' to 'Yes'. For example - a part allows 2 decimal places and the a quantity of 2.5 are ordered. With 'PO_HIDE_DECIMAL_TRAILING_ZERO' set to 'No' (the default) the purchase order would show 2.50. With the control flag set to 'Yes' the same purchase order would show a quantity of 2.5.
A further control flag - 'PO_RM_WEIGHT_DECIMALS' controls the number of decimals to which the equivalent weight will be printed on 'priced-by-weight' raw material purchase orders. This defaults to '5', but can be set down to zero.
The 'find' facility within purchase orders has been updated to allow users to search for items using the 'item description' and the 'supplier's own part number'. |
Purchase Units of Measure The conversion rate between the stock and purchase units of measure now allows decimal places to be entered - up to the number of decimals to which item can be stocked. For example - if the part can be stocked to three decimal places then the conversion factor can now also contain up to three decimal places. |
Stocked Part Selection The 'find part number' option from the 'Stocked Parts' screen is now also available on the 'Stocked Part Selection' screen which is called from several areas of the system. |
Stocktake It is now possible to set up 'stocktake templates' in which the user is able to enter pre-defined ranges of product groups, locations, forms and specifications. When a new snapshot is required, the user can then simply select the template required, and all the appropriate ranges will be applied. |
Missing Manufacturing Route Report This report now has the option to exclude 'free issue' components. |
Works Order Components The control flag 'WO_COMP_SHOW_ORDERS' can now be used to determine if the quantity on order shown in this screen includes just the items specifically associated with the component or all outstanding orders for the item. The control flag 'WO_COMP_ORDER_BY' can now be used to select the sort order of the works order components screen. |
Task Maintenance This program now has a new vertical QuickBar with additional search options. |
Employee Authorisation The control flag 'ALLOW_DEF_LATENESS' has been added to allow users to authorise time bookings for employees that have unspecified absences on their 'IN' or 'OUT' clockings. Once a default lateness code is specified the system will use that code to fill in any unspecified lateness's when authorising the employees' time booking. |
Book Multiple Absence A facility to book an absence for a specified day across multiple employees has been added to the 'Time & Attendance' menu. |
