Transaction Broker
A new transaction broker type of 'FM-COMMS' has been added. This broker type is
used to import CRM communication records and is only available if you have the CRM
module enabled.
The 'FM-PROS' (prospects) broker type will now import 'status', 'region' and 'notes'.

Prospects
Prospects have been updated with the addition of a 'region' field and a 'notes'
tab.

|
Sales Works Orders via Sales Order Entry
A default option selected when a sales works order is created in sales order entry
has been added. The control flag 'SWO_CREATE_DEFAULT' defines this default value.

Customer Concessions
When the system is set up to check for concessions when making a delivery, open
concessions will NOT be checked and closed concessions will be checked to ensure
they are valid. Invalid concessions will only be reported if there has NOT been
a successful concession recorded AFTER the failed one.

P/O Item Numbers
When the system automatically sets the item number on a P/O it will by default use
the next number after the highest existing number. If the control flag PO_ITEM_CONTRACT_USE_GAPS
is set to YES it will also re-use numbers which are missing in the sequence of item
numbers.

P/O Receipts
The way in which raw material receipts are handled by the system has been changed.
If previously you received 100M of a material on a single advice note, but this
was made up of 3 different batches of stock you would have only seen one receipt
record (for the full 100M) on the 'Advice Note History', 'Invoice Matching' and
'Purchase Invoice History' screens. There will now be a separate record for each
stock batch - bringing raw materials into line with the way 'stocked parts' have
always been handled.
The system has been changed so that it is now only possible to receive goods on
Firm, Firm Urgent and Agreed P/O lines. The control flag RECEIVE_FIRM_ONLY can be
set to NO to enable the receipt of other status lines.

Copy / Replace Part
The 'copy / replace part' facility should now consider the 'AUTO_GENERATE_PART'
control flag and allow an automatically generated 'target' part number to be inserted
if required.

Maximum & Standard Cost EBQ
Stocked parts have been updated with the addition of 'Maximum' and 'Standard Cost'
EBQ fields.
If a 'maximum' EBQ is set, the 'Suggest EBQ Works Orders' facility will now attempt
to suggest works orders which are above the minimum EBQ but below the maximum EBQ
in order to optimise your production runs.
Creation of works orders associated with sales orders via sales order enquiry has
been updated to default to use the 'suggest EBQ works orders' facility but this
default option can be changed by using the 'SWO_CREATE_DEFAULT' control flag.
Works orders created manually will give a warning if they are below the minimum
EBQ or above the maximum EBQ.
The 'Standard cost' EBQ field will be used when calculating the standard cost of
manufactured parts.
The auto-raising of works orders from the MRP will now also take the maximum EBQ
into account. This may result in several works orders being suggested for a single
date.

W/O Receipts
It is now possible to set up FactoryMaster so that the goods are automatically booked in to stock when a quantity is entered on the LAST operation on the works order. The control setting WO_CHECK_OPS_QTY_INTO_STOCK should be set to 'Yes' to enable this functionality and a default receipt location will also be needed for each part. This option will also check all relevant control settings to ensure that the stock is only booked in when all relevant conditions are met.

Product Improvement Report
A new control setting (PIR_SHOW_PREVENTATIVE_ACTION) has been added which, if set to 'Yes', displays two additional memo fields on the 'Product Improvement Report' screen. By default these are labelled 'Preventative Action' and 'Effectiveness of Preventative Action', but these can be changed by the user. The former of these fields is also shown on the 'Five Whys' report screen.

Campaign Maintenance
The 'Campaign Maintenance' screen has been updated with the addition of a 'region' field and 3 user defined codes.
These fields are also available in the Campaign Maintenance QuickBar.
