Password Policy
New options have been added to govern the password policy for all system users.
The following options are currently available:
To force new users to change their password the first time they log in, or after
their password has been changed by another user.
To set an expiry period for passwords - users will be forced to change their password
on log-in if their password is over a specified age.
To activate case-sensitive passwords. By default passwords are case-insensitive.
By default, the above options are all turned OFF, but can be activated by any FULL
system user. Further options are planned for upcoming versions.

Error Report
The error report facility has been updated to include a screenshot of the screen
in its current state.
The intention of this update is to allow users to report and 'capture' issues encountered
in the system as they occur, without having to manually create screen images. This
will assist the support department in isolating the problem.

VAT Codes
The sales module has been updated to use
the VAT codes applicable to the country of the 'DELIVER TO' address instead of the
'INVOICE TO' address.
Please note that this does NOT affect or alter existing sales orders or invoices.

Release Notes
It is now possible to create release notes for existing printed deliveries. This
is done from the 'Delivery Note History' screen by zooming to the detail of the
delivery note and then ticking the lines for which a release note should be created.
The release notes will then be created as you exit the screen.

CRM Communication Direction
Communications made with CRM contacts can now optionally include a 'direction' indicator
('incoming' or 'outgoing') to provide better analysis of interactions with contacts.
This facility is only available to customers who have purchased the CRM module of
FactoryMaster.

Export Invoices to Accounting Software The 'export invoices' facility now includes an audit trail
which will record when and by whom the batch was exported.
Batches which have been recorded in the audit as 'exported' will be highlighted
on the 'Export History' screens. Please note that batches exported prior to the
installation of this release will NOT be highlighted.

New Scheduling Routine - Beta
A beta-test version of a new scheduling routine is available in this release. The
new version will run considerably faster than the existing internal scheduling routine
(speeds of up to 20 times faster have been reported in tests) and has new screens
to analyze the results produced. It is also possible to run multiple full scheduling
scenarios so that you can see the effect that increasing and decreasing capacity
has on the results. Note that in the beta-test version it is NOT possible to apply
the schedule to your live works orders - this will follow in an upcoming release.
Please contact support if you would like this feature to be activated on your dataset.
There is no risk to your live data and we would appreciate any feedback you may
have.

Projects
Projects have been expanded to allow the user to 'attach' sales orders, quotes and
contacts. Please note that these new items are for reference purposes only and do
NOT affect the COSTING of the project.
Users who have purchased the CRM module will be able to view any associated projects
via new tabs on the 'Customer Maintenance', 'Supplier Maintenance', 'Prospect
Maintenance' and 'CRM Maintenance' screens.
A new control flag - 'SO_AUTO_ADD_PROJECT' - has been added to automatically associate
any new works orders raised from the sales order screen to the same project
code as the sales order. This will also apply to any existing works orders
linked to the sales order via this screen (as long as they are not already associated
with a different project).
If a works order is disassociated from the sales order it will also be disassociated
from the project.
