|
Quote Import of Manufacturing Instruction Routes
The 'associated labour' code and percentage will now be copied from the route rather
than using the default from the resource.

|
Sales Order Entry
To reduce the number of key presses required, the 'address details' screen will
no longer pop-up when creating a new sales order. The 'ordered by', 'deliver to'
and 'invoice to' address codes will still default as defined on the customer account
record. The old behaviour can be restored by setting the control flag 'ADDR_SCREEN_ON_NEW_SO'
to 'Yes'. This is recommended for customers who regularly deliver (or invoice) to
alternative addresses.

Sales Order Labels
The ability to print sales order labels has been added to sales order maintenance.
This facility is also compatible with the new 'Reporting Services' facility to allow
users to create their own label style.

CRM Modifications
Most of the information previously only available in the 'CRM Maintenance' screen
is now available directly from the customer, supplier and prospect maintenance screens.
This includes the ability to add, edit and delete contacts, create documents and
emails, and view the contents of the customer/supplier/prospect's document folder.
It is now also possible to filter the records show on each of the tabs by 'contact'
and by the user who created the record.
New quotes and sales orders can now be raised directly from within the relevant
tabs in customer/prospect maintenance.
Please note that the majority of these modifications are only available to customers
who have purchased the CRM module of FactoryMaster.
|
|
?
|
Supplier Maintenance
The 'supplier maintenance' screen has been redesigned to the same format as 'customer
maintenance'. Customers using the CRM module can also view and access any purchase
orders for each supplier directly from this screen.

expedite date and the new expected date to be today.

be shown (promised, expected etc).

A facility has been added to the system to allow users to completely replace one
stock unit of measure (UOM) with another unit of measure on ALL parts that it has
been used on.
|

?
|
Bulk Loads
A new control flag ('BULK_LOAD_MULTI_PART') has been added to determine if a bulk
load can contain different parts. If NOT set, the user will be prompted to specify
the part number when creating the load, and only stock of that item can then be
added to it. If a 'pallet quantity' is set on the part then the user will be given
the option of 'auto-allocating' stock to the load on a 'first in, first out' basis
up to the pallet quantity.
It is now also possible to assemble 'movement notes' of bulk loads, enabling multiple
loads to be moved at the same time.

|
Works Orders for 'In Development' parts.
The control flag 'WO_ALLOW_DEVELOPMENT' can be set to 'Yes' to allow works orders
to be created for 'In Development' parts.
|
|
?
|
Works Order Earliest Start Date
It is now possible to enter an 'Earliest Start Date' on works orders by pressing
F5 on the required date. This will be used by scheduling (forwards and ASAP) to
ensure that works orders are not scheduled before that date.
|
|
?
|
Preactor Interface
All (non-redundant) resources and their groups are now output to Preactor, rather
than just the ones used on pending works orders.
The new 'earliest start date' is also now synchronised with Preactor when the import/export
options are run.
|
|
?
|
Mamut Integration
The system can now export sales and purchase invoices to a file format suitable
for import into the 'Mamut' accounts package.
|

|
Cost of Sales Report
This report now responds to the new control flag 'JOBCST_MANUF_BREAKOUT'. If this
flag is set to 'Yes' then this report will break out the cost of MA components and
include the constituent costs in the appropriate column (for example labour or sub-con).
If the flag is set to 'No' (the default) then the entire cost of the MA components
will be included in the 'material' column as in past versions.

Time Recording: Issue Stock
It is now possible to allow 'time recording' operatives to issue component stock
directly to works orders.
