? Release Notes For Version 10.21

? UniPaas Engine

This version of FactoryMaster uses the latest version of the underlying engine which is now called UniPaas (previously eDeveloper, and before that Magic). To run this version of FactoryMaster you will need to replace your eDeveloper licence with a UniPaas licence.

Please ensure that you install this just before upgrading FactoryMaster. You should be sent the installation file for the new licence at the same time as the new version. If you do not receive it please contact support

N.B. Do NOT install the new licence until you are ready to upgrade FactoryMaster as the old version of FactoryMaster will still require the old licence.

? Control File

The default value of a control flag is now shown when you press F5 on a control flag to see more details.

The search of the control file now only returns results for flags the user has access to.

? Prospects

It is now possible to IMPORT prospects into the system using the Import Manager option within System Maintenance. The Prospect Maintenance screen is now controlled by its own user access code of Prospect Maintenance, and many more fields have been added to the Print Prospect Details report. Please note that prospects are only available to customers who have purchased the CRM Modules. Please contact support if you are interested in finding out more about this module.

You can now define progress stages and use these to record how close your prospects are to becoming customers. The percentage progress of each prospect is then clearly displayed on the main prospect table.

? Customer Maintenance

The contacts tab will now show the telephone number and email details of the contacts address if the contact does not have a specific one of their own. These will be shown in italics to distinguish them from a contact specific one.

? Sales Works Order Report

The Sales Works Orders report now has the option to show the alternative part description instead of the internal part description.

? RTF Delivery Note

The RTF Delivery note can now show the part notes & comments. The new tag to provide this functionality is MG_PART_NOTES_COMMENTS.

? RFQ

It is now possible to produce an RTF version of a Request for Quotation.

? Printing Purchase Orders

The default setting for the print outstanding quantities checkbox can now be set using the PORDER_PRINT_OUTSTANDING option.

? Bulk Other Issue Stock

This facility has been added to allow users to make bulk issues of stock to a specified other issue type.

? Trial Kitting

It is now possible to trial kit multiple assemblies at once and to load a list of parts from a quote. The assemblies can be given a priority and, if there is insufficient stock to make them all, stock will be allocated first to assemblies with the highest priority.

? Stock Details

The stock details screen by batch tab has been updated to allow the batch table to be sorted by batch number (ascending or descending).

? VAT

VAT rates for the UK will now default to 15% for new installations of FactoryMaster. For existing installations you will need to make these changes yourself. Please contact support if you require assistance with how to make these changes.
