Version 9.42 August 2006
Menus & Hot KeysThe options on the 'Sales Order Import Menu' are now available to add as favourites or on hot keys.
It is now possible to define a list of users who should automatically receive a system message whenever a customer return is processed.
MS Graphing System
The 'MS Graphing' option implemented in FactoryMaster has been updated to allow the user to manipulate the graph to meet their own requirements.
Please note that this functionality is only available if you have installed 'Microsoft Office (2000 / 2003)' or the 'Microsoft Office Web Components'.
The new imports which allow user-defined file layouts now allow that layout to be saved for future use.
The 'Sales Order Header' report now has the option to select the which call-off date (customer requirement / shipping date) shoudl be shown.
The main 'Sales Order Maintenance' screen can now be sorted in ascending or descending order. Users can press 'Ctrl+S' to select a sort order.
The quantity suggested when raising a linked works order now takes the quantity already ordered on 'back to back' purchase orders into consideration.
The 'Sales Order Book Report' has been updated to allow the 'price' field to always show in home currency.
The speed of loading of the 'simple' sales order entry screen has been improved.
The sales order imports now check for other users whose actions may interfere with the import. For example - you cannot import a file while another user is viewing that customers import, as this would overwrite the import the other user is viewing. If a sales order which the import wants to update is being edited by another user then the import will not be able to update that order until the other user has finished.
The 'Delivery Note Production' and 'Delivery Note Detail' screens have been updated to allow the user to select which call-off date is to be shown.
Sales and purchase invoice exports are now available in a format suitable for importing into Sage MMS.
Supplier rejects can now be cancelled. This only applies if the reject has NOT been invoiced matched.
This routine has been amended to allow part-matched invoices to be saved for completion at a later date.
A QuickBar has been added to help the user to locate the required receipt.
It is now possible to view all the outstanding receipts and rejects for a supplier without having to enter the invoice details first.
The 'our reference' field can now be automatically incremented by the system. To use this feature, set the control flag 'INVOICE_MATCH_AUTO_OUR_REF' to 'Yes'.
A control flag ('INVOICE_MATCH_ONLY_IF_PASSED') has been added which excludes any stocked part receipts from the matching screen if any part of that receipt is still in its default receipt location. This is useful for users who receive items into an 'inspection' location before 'passing' them to stores or the shop floor.
The system will now offer to match an invoice if the total goods or VAT matched are within £0.02 of the invoice totals. This is to allow for rounding errors in the calculation of the VAT amounts.
The 'batch' view of the 'Stock Details' screen has been updated to allow the user to change the sort order used. The screen can now be sorted by 'Received Date' in either ascending or descending order.
The 'Resource Utilisation' report has been updated to allow more versatile report options.
It is no longer possible to use a route which contains a redundant resource. It is no longer possible to mark a resource as redundant if it is in use on a works order. If any pending works orders DO end up with a redundant resource (for example if a historic works order containing one is moved back into pending) then it will not be possible to schedule that resource.
The system will also not allow a route to be created from quote with a redundant resource on it.
It is no longer possible to enter a 'per day' capacity over 24 hours. Previous versions allowed a higher figure to be entered, even though only 24 hours would actually be used. It is also no longer possible to enter a 'per day' capacity greater than the total capacity.
Capacity overrides have been updated in this version. Overrides on a specific date are no longer applied on top of the daily percentage for that day. This means that an override can be entered which allows capacity on a day when there is usually zero capacity. (Existing overrides have been converted so that the overall capacity available will be the same as it was in previous versions.)
It is now possible to enter an override of the daily percentage on a resource-by-resource basis. For example there may be only 75% available on Fridays globally but a particular resource may have 100% on Fridays.
The Gant chart now allows the user to view the schedule at finer detail. The level of detail available depends on the detail level at which the last full schedule was calculated at (control flag SCHEDULE_DETAIL_LEVEL). If the last schedule was calculated at a detail level of 'Hour' then only the 'Day', 'Shift' and 'Hour' settings will be available on the gant chart. If the last schedule was calculated at a detail level of 'Half Hour' then 'Day', 'Shift', 'Hour' and 'Half Hour' will be available on the gant chart and so on.
Graphing functionality has been added to the 'Supplier Scan & Adherence' report. The graph should illustrate the scan & adherence levels of a selected supplier.
The graphing functions within the KPI system have been updated to use the improved 'MS Graph' facility within FactoryMaster.
The breakdown screens have been updated with a 'Ctrl+G' graph shortcut that will produce a quick graph of the progress over the KPI period.
The comparison screens (eg Profit / Sales Analysis) have been updated to incorporate the related graphs within the screen itself rather than from a separate program.
