Version 9.26 April 2005

  • RTF Despatch Labels
RTF Despatch Label templates have been added to allow users to customize their own despatch label layouts.

  • Quote Operations Markup
The system will now import the 'Quote Markup Percentage' stored against a resource code when operations are imported from a manufacturing route.

  • Sales Order Maintenance
This screen has been redesigned to bring it in line with current standards. By use of the QuickBar it is now possible to range your orders by 'Ordered By Customer', 'Deliver To Customer', 'Invoice To Customer', 'Sales Order Number', 'Customer Reference' (if applicable), 'Works Order Number' and 'Part Number'.

  • Order By Works Order
This program has been redesigned to allow the user to add items to existing (unprinted) purchase orders for a supplier.

  • Invoice Matching
It is now possible to specify a works order number when adding a delivery charge to a purchase order from the 'Invoice Matching' screen. The job costing record of the entered works order will be updated as appropriate.

  • Order By Assembly
A new routine has been added to allow purchase orders to be raised for the top level components of an assembly.

  • Compare MRP Runs
A new report has been added to the MRP screen to allow a user to compare two MRP runs. This report will list all the parts which differ between the two runs and which columns of the MRP they are different in. The comparison can only be done between two MRP runs with the same 'base date' and for the same period (12 weeks or 12 months).

  • Time Recording
Three new control flags have been added to time recording.  The control flag 'TIMEREC_OPS_SCREEN' has been added to allow users to specify which time recording operations screen they would like to use.
The control flag 'TIMEREC_COMP_JOBS_IN_ORDER' (which is only applicable to operation screen style 1) has been added to enforce time recording users to complete works order operations in the order they appear in the instructions.
The control flag 'TIMEREC_CHECK_OP_QTY' has been added to allow supervisors to be informed if an operation has been completed BELOW the required quantity.  Users who receive this message can be setup in System Maintenance.
