Scheduled Programs
Scheduled programs section has been added to the system maintenance menu. This feature allows users to specify when scheduled events with the system occur.
The current version of this feature allows users to create an archive of the audit system, by either deleting, or exporting old audit records. This can be set to occur as a regular system process.
User Access
A new user access code of 'Purchase Invoice History' has been added to the purchase order section of user access. This control defines access to Purchase Invoice history.
Audit System Area
Tooling and gauging has been added audit system.
Database Statistics
A new function has been added that allows users to view the statistics of database files currently in use by FactoryMaster. This option is available from Database Manager menu of System maintenance. Please note that this feature is only available for users running an MSDE or MSSQL database.
Sales Order Book Reports
The sales order book reports have been updated to allow users to range on Product group.
Create Sales Order From A Quote
The quote system has been updated to allow users to raise a stage payment sales order.
Sales Price Lists
There was previously a problem if you entered a price list name which contained a hyphen. Hyphens are now allowed in price list names.
Sales Invoice Layouts
Sales Invoice layout 19 has been added.
Sales Analysis Report
The sales analysis report has been updated to allow users to range on Product group.
Purchase Order Day Book
A day book purchase order report has been added to the purchase invoice report menu. This report acts similar to the sales invoice day book report.
Cancel Purchase Invoice
The ability to cancel a purchase invoice has been added. This function can be used in the Invoice History screen.
Stocked Parts
Three new user defined analysis fields have been added to the stocked parts screen. By default these fields are called 'User Code 1', 'User Code 2' and 'User Code 3' but their description can be changed by means of the control flags 'ANALYSIS_CODE_1_DESCRIPTION', 'ANALYSIS_CODE_2_DESCRIPTION' and 'ANALYSIS_CODE_3_DESCRIPTION' respectively. The stocked parts screen can then be ranged on specific values of these codes by entering the required values in the QuickBar.
The ability to range the screen by 'Product Code' has also been added to the QuickBar.
Discontinued And Redundant Parts
There is now a subtle difference between the 'Discontinued' and 'Redundant' part stati. Neither type can be manufactured or added to a Purchase Order, but it is now possible to quote, raise sales orders for and deliver 'Discontinued' parts. This is to allow existing stock to be used up, but prevent additional stock from being booked in.
Part Valuation
A QuickBar has been added to the Part Valuation screen.
Raw Material Stock Report
The Raw Materials by Location report has been replaced by the Raw Material stock report. This new report allows many more report options than previously available.
Replace Resource
A replace resource facility has been made available from resource maintenance. This function is used to exchange one resource for another in all / selected quotes, manufacturing instructions and works orders.
Assembly Maintenance
The control flag 'ASS_USE_STD_BATCH_PRICE' has been added to control which batch price is shown on assembly maintenance and the assembly report. When the 'ASS_USE_STD_BATCH_PRICE' control flag is set, the batch price shown will be the price that has been set as the standard cost default price INSTEAD of the batch cost for the appropriate batch size
Manufacturing Maintenance
The QuickBar has been added to the Manufacturing Maintenance screen.
A feature has been added to update the drawing issue no on the MI with the current issue from the selected drawing number. If the drawing number is added / changed, then the system will now ask if you would like to use the current issue of the selected drawing.
Works Order Completion
A new control flag been added. The control flag 'W/O_CHECK_OVER' has been added to allow users to specify how the system will react when a user attempts to complete MORE than is required on the works order. If the flag is set to 0 then the system will not ask for conformation. If the flag is set to 1, then the system will ask for conformation that the entered quantity is correct.
If the flag is set to 2, then the system will NOT allow anyone to complete more than is required.
Works Order Component Report
The works order component report now allows users to specify if they want Auto Issue components flagged.
MRP Trace & Auto raise Screens
The MRP trace & auto raise screens (P/O & W/O) have been updated to highlight the current status of parts.
Job Costing
The QuickBar has been added to the Job Cost Summary screen.
Employee Maintenance
Employee Maintenance has been updated to allow users to delete unused employee codes.
Summary of Time Bookings
The Summary of Time bookings report has been updated to allow a range of departments.
