Version 9.21 November 2004

  • User Access
The user access control 'Part Valuation' has been extended to control view / modify access of costs from the Goods Received Screen.

  • Sales Order Entry
The ability to select Customers Own part numbers has been added to sales order entry.  Please note that the Customers Own part numbers are for reference only,
any selected parts would add the FactoryMaster equivalent to the sales order.

  • Pick Lists
A new control flag 'PICK_PRINT_BEFORE_CONFIRM' has been added to Pick List Maintenance.  This flag controls if the picklist must be printed before it can be confirmed.

  • Delivery Note Styles
    Added style 23.

  • Invoice Styles
    Added style 18.

  • Purchase Order Entry
The table of supplier list prices is now displayed on the screen where you enter quantity and price details. This screen has also been redesigned for clarity.

  • Purchase Invoice Matching
This screen has been redesigned and a range of sort orders added. It is now also possible to 'cleardown' the invoice matching screen and to remove all records up to a specified date from the matching screen. This is designed for customers who have had the system for some time but now want to start using invoice matching.

  • Purchase Export To Accounting Packages
The 'Export History' screen and reports are now sorted by 'Invoice Number' within ' Supplier Code' rather than the other way round so that all invoices for a supplier are displayed together. Records will now also be exported in this order.

  • Stocked Parts
A new stocked part status of 'Discontinued' has been added. This behaves in much the same way as the 'Redundant' status. The existing status of 'Develop' has been renamed 'In Development'.
The Daily Stock Transactions report has now been updated with an export function.

  • Assembly Maintenance
A new selection screen has been added which shows phantom assemblies on a separate tab. This allows parts to be searched by their descriptions.
Non-active stocked parts are now clearly indicated and the user will be prevented from adding a 'Redundant' or 'Discontinued' part to an assembly.

  • Works Order Kitting
The 'KIT_DEFAULT_LOCATION_FIRST' has been replaced with 'KIT_DEFAULT_LOCATION' and updated to allow multiple situations.
0 = Off.  The system will attempt to kit from the first location(s) that are available.
1 = Kit default location ONLY.  The system will ONLY attempt to kit from the parts' default location.  If there is not enough stock in the default location, the system WILL NOT attempt to kit from
any other locations, regardless of if there is any more stock.  The user has the option to then amend & allocate from these locations manually if necessary.
2 = Kit default location FIRST.  The system will attempt to kit all available stock from the default location FIRST.  If there is not enough stock in the default location, the system will attempt to kit the remaining quantity from the next available location(s).
