User Access

It is now possible to associate an 'employee reference' with a user login name. If entered, the 'Data Capture' and 'Time Recording By Operation' screens will default to this employee.

Sales Order Maintenance

'Sales Order Maintenance' has been updated with additional QuickBar options such as the ability to retain QuickBar values.
A 'Find' facility has also been added to allow users to search for sales orders by their address details.

Allocate Stock To Call-Offs

Additional sort options have been added to the 'Allocate Stock To Call-Offs' screen. The applicable sort orders are now: 'By Required Date / Shipping Date & Part Number' and 'By Sales Order & Sales Order Item Number'.

Stocked Parts

Six additional user definable fields have been added to the 'Stocked Parts' screen  to allow users to further define the attributes of a stocked part.  Please note that currently these fields are NOT searchable via the QuickBar.

Manual Goods In

A new control flag has been added to default the cost of a manual goods in receipt.  The control flag 'GI_AUTO_APPLY_COST' should automatically update the 'other' costs field with either the standard cost of the item or the supplier purchase cost (if a supplier code has been entered).  Please note that this is only applicable to stocked parts and NOT raw materials.

Works Order Components

A new '#' reference or 'LOP' code field has been added to the 'Works Order Components' screen. This will be populated from the corresponding field on the 'Assembly Maintenance' screen when the works order is created or updated. Note that only the FIRST reference will be used if a component appears on an assembly more than once.

Dimension Inspection Report

A new 'Dimension Inspection Report' has been added to works orders. Currently this only incorporates a detail entry screen. In future versions a report/print and a maintenance screen will be added.

Time Recording By Operation

A new option has been added to the 'Employee' menu to allow a user to view and log on to outstanding works order operations. The screen incorporates a new style of 'QuickBar' to allow the operations shown to be filtered. Press 'Ctrl+Shift+Q', or click on the gold bars to open / close the QuickBar.

Please note that only users with an 'employee reference' associated with their user login name will be able to log onto operations, although all users with sufficient access will be able to view the operation details.

MRP

The MPR again responds to the ‘create’ access in user access. A user with ‘create’ access can create new MRP runs, but can also delete MRP runs (as this is required to create new ones).
When raising purchase orders from the MRP the 'Minimum Order Quantity' on the supplier now acts in the same way as the 'EBQ' for manufactured parts. This means that it no longer orders excessive amounts if there are lots of small requirements all below the minimum.

Calibration List

This report now has an option to replace the location with the employee the tool has been issued to (if it is currently booked out).

System Maintenance Block

If the ‘System Maintenance’ block has been set then users (without full access) attempting to log in will be blocked before the main menu is displayed. Users with full access will automatically be shown the ‘Who’s On The System’ screen, with the option to unset the block. If they do this they will be logged in, otherwise the system will exit.
