Customer Sales Order Message

The message which is presented to the user when a sales order is raised for a specified customer has been expanded to allow up to 1000 characters.

Quote Discounts

Quote discounts have been updated to allow a 'line' level discount INSTEAD of a 'entire quote' level discount.

 To enable this option, please set the 'QUOTE_USE_DETAIL_DISC' control flag. 

Please note that line level discounts will still use the default discount set on the customer record and the 'entire quote' level discount will be REMOVED / IGNORED.

Stock Location Format

A new option has been added to the 'System Maintenance / System Settings' menu to allow you to define a mask to force the entry and display of stock locations to a specified format. The mask can be used to split the location up into up to three 'elements' - the names of these default to 'Location', 'Shelf' and 'Bin', but these can be changed for your system via the 'User Defined Field Titles' option.

Non-Stocked Parts

The parts listed in the various types that can be purchased but not stocked (e.g. Carriage) can now support decimal places. From the stock categories screen, zoom to see the parts in that category. The number of decimals can then be entered against each part. N.B. - once the number of decimals has been raised it can not be lowered again.

Dimension Inspections

It is now possible to link documents to dimension inspection reports. These can be linked to each individual check on the report by pressing F5 on the 'characteristic to check' field.

Delivery of Items with Outstanding NCR's

The system has been updated to include an option to disallow delivery of items that are associated with an ACTIVE NCR record (either FAIR, Customer Concession or Production Permit).

To enable this option please set the 'STOP_DEL_PP_CC_FAIR' control flag to 'Yes'.

Data Capture / Time Recording

The data capture system has been updated to allow PDF file documents to be visible when viewing images associated with a works order drawing.

Please note that ALL client machines wishing to use this functionality MUST have Adobe Acrobat Reader 8 (or higher) installed.
