FactoryMaster are looking into the feasibility of doing a customer day in October, where we invite all of our customers to a hotel and go through features and functionality in FactoryMaster. Some of the activities to be included will be: Wish list items, new modules, mini specialised training breakout sessions, open discussion, direction of the solution, networking, and customer spot light.

New Starter

We would like to introduce you to our newest member of the team, Rose Tyler, who has joined the FactoryMaster family as a software support technician. Rose has a background in technical support, and is looking forward to supporting our customers.

New Indian Dealer

We are pleased to welcome on-board our new Indian partner, Shishir Kabra, who is based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.

Scheduling Module Update

Since November last year, we have been completely redeveloping the scheduling module within FactoryMaster. Rather than bringing everything together in one final product, we have been developing iteratively and incrementally adding new features through a series of prototype phases.

The second prototype phase of this process has just successfully finished, adding existing features such as sub-contract operations and resource calendars to the new scheduling module.

A new aspect we are developing is the careful integration of data from sources outside of FactoryMaster to feed into scheduling. This will allow other packages to seamlessly integrate with the scheduling module. If you are interested in using scheduling but are currently unable to as your data is outside of FactoryMaster; we will be keen to hear from you!

Hints & Tips

Orange column titles
Whenever you see an orange column title, you can click it to change to see a different category:

The part number has changed to the part descriptions.

By right clicking on the main menu you are able to set up your shortcut keys preference - The standard defaults are as follows:

By pressing the shortcut for show main menu, a new menu will pop up with access to all areas of your FactoryMaster system:

Audit Menu
From here you are able to see all changes to your data in the FactoryMaster system and this will also show you the person who made the change, and when.
